Wiki #33: Pi

Pi is an irrational number that is the result of dividing the circumference of a circle by the diameter. Pi is a constant number, which means that it will be the result for every circle. Because it is irrational it's decimal representation never ends or repeats, and it cannot be written accurately as decimal or fraction. Many people have tried to determine pi more accurately. The most accurate calculation, as of September 2011, stands at 5 trillion decimal digits. It is normally represented as 3.14 or 22/7.
